Peregrax CA
Peregrax CA greases are calcium-based greases that offer excellent inherent resistance to washout by water. Specially selected base oils provide outstanding film protection between moving metal surfaces. Peregrax CA greases demonstrate good mechanical stability and contain tackiness agent that impart superior adhesiveness properties; allowing the greases to cling firmly to moving parts such as ball joints, chassis and U-joints. Peregrax CA greases are recommended for machinery operating at moderate speed and at temperatures of below 60 °C.
Peregrax CA greases are suitable for application by either centralized pressure grease systems or by simple grease guns. They do not contain any heavy metals or nitrite that may be harmful to the health and environment. These products serve as effective heavy-duty chassis greases and can also be used in semi-enclosed gears and chain drives of farm equipment.
Peregrax CAs are available in consistency ranges of NLGI 1, 2 and 3 grades.
Characteristics
- WATER RESISTANT: Resist washout by water and do not emulsify easily. Allow effective lubrication at below 60 °C, even in the presence of moisture or in damp environments.
- GOOD ADHESIVENESS: Cling firmly to metal surfaces for prolonged lubrication.
- MECHANICAL STABILITY: Well distributed fibre structure of the thickener ensures superior resistance to mechanical shear. High film strength maintains grease consistency for longer service period.
- RUST AND CORROSION INHIBITED: Promotes effective lubrication under difficult environments such as corrosive or rust prone service situations.
Typical Applications
- Designed primarily for chassis lubrication of automotive, tractor, farm and earth-moving equipment in both passenger car and commercial sectors.
- Excellent for chassis points, shackles, bushings, clutch throw-out bearings and similar applications.
- Used in industrial bearings and general purpose plant operations.
