Peregrax EP
Peregrax EP greases possess excellent lubrication characteristics. They are recommended forbearing lubrication, whether under normal or severely loaded service conditions. The greases have a buttery and smooth appearance and are highly recommended for automotive, marine and industrial applications. Peregrax EP greases are manufactured with lithium 12-hydroxy stearate thickener and high quality mineral base stocks, combining with various specially selected components, including very effective extreme pressure additives.
Peregrax EP is formulated to provide benefits such as water resistance, excellent extreme pressure protection, good shear stability, high oxidation resistance, and outstanding rust and corrosion properties. These are truly versatile, high quality multi-purpose lubricants, and are suitable for use at temperature of up to 120°C for extended periods of time.
Characteristics
- WATER RESISTANT: Resists washout by water as well as squeeze-out by heavy loads and sliding mechanical action.
- MULTI-PURPOSE GREASES: Suitable for high and low temperature applications. Protect all moving parts from shock loadings, prevents scuffing and reduce wear.
- SHEAR RESISTANT: The excellent resistance to mechanical shear combined with high film strength maintains grease consistency for extended lubrication.
- OXIDATION INHIBITED: Assures long service life.
- RUST AND CORROSION INHIBITED: Promotes effective lubrication under difficult environments such as corrosive or rust prone service situations.
Typical Applications
- Automotive : Recommended for chassis, universal joints and wheel bearings particularly, those in vehicles fitted with disc brakes where high temperatures cause ordinary greases to soften and give ineffective lubrications. Suitable for cars, trucks, tractors, trailers etc
- Industrial: Recommended for anti-friction bearings in steel, mining and other heavy manufacturing industries.
- Also suitable in prepacked and sealed-for-life bearings.
- Usable temperature range: -10°C ~ 120°C
