Premium Grade Wireline Lubricant/Sealant PGO 19, 21, 24, 26

PAL PGOs are premium wireline lubricants formulated with a specially balanced combination of corrosion inhibitors, anti-oxidants and anti-wear additives for reducing friction and providing maximum protection to the line, even under severe operating conditions. PAL PGOs are available in 19, 21, 24 and 26 grades. All grades of PGO contain a premium grade corrosion prevention additive package as well as friction reduction component for better lubricity and performance.
Performance Features / Benefits:
- Formulated with proprietary visco elastic polymers to provide superior sealing properties. These additives are designed to prevent the loss of well gases and condensate with minimum loss of product.
- PGO is fortified with top tier corrosion inhibitors to protect against corrosion from chlorides, H2S, CO2, and other harsh down-hole conditions. PGO’s corrosion inhibitors are designed to penetrate the wire braid down to the core providing complete protection throughout the entire cable.
- High viscosity Index and viscosity retention properties allow PGO to maintain its working viscosity over a broader temperature range and prevents loss of viscosity due dissolved gases.
- Formulations ranging from artic to >140° F ambient temperature. Please ask your representative for additional information on arctic grade service formulations and extreme condition formulations.
- Special additives which provide ‘tackiness’ are added to reduce splashing or dripping when handling and provides better adherence of the oil to the wireline. This additive also reduces consumption by preventing unnecessary loss.
- All PGO products are offered in 2 special grades with 4x’s and 8x’s the normal corrosion protection levels for extremely harsh environments.
